Agency clients oftentimes struggle with depression, anxiety, bullying and cyberbullying, familial stressors, academic pressure, and suicidal ideation. The majority of youth are referred by local schools, and no one is turned away if they cannot afford to pay. The agency offers a sliding scale and also accepts multiple insurance plans. Oftentimes and when appropriate, alternative approaches including art, music, and play therapy are utilized to help clinicians develop a rapport with clients and progress towards accomplishing the goals of treatment. The Youth Services’ facility is especially conducive to this in that it houses a full size gym, music, art & play therapy room, library, and outdoor garden space.

Full-time Intake Coordinator

Masters in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology required; ability to work evening hours; bilingual preferred

Job Duties

  • Conducts phone intakes for individual and group therapy clients
  • Maintains and updates client insurance information and coordinates with third party biller
  • Provides screenings for individuals and families utilizing the financial assistance program
  • Assists clinicians with case management tasks, scheduling of appointments and other relevant clinical duties
  • Maintains small caseload of individual clients
  • Provides phone communication with clients/parents in non-crisis situations
  • Prepares and distributes correspondence, forms, reports, and other written communications as required
  • Maintains up-to-date and accurate departmental files and databases as required
Full and Part-time Therapists

Masters in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology required; LCSW/LCPC preferred; ability to work evening hours

Job Duties

  • Conducts individual and group therapy sessions
  • Provides safety assessments and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Attends weekly individual and group supervision sessions
  • Maintains clinical records and necessary statistics of psychotherapeutic and other client contacts in compliance with legal and ethical standards and best practices
  • Consults with parents, physicians, psychiatrists, and school personnel when appropriate, in order to provide quality care to youth
  • Makes referrals when appropriate
Full or Part-time Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper

Experience with non-profit accounting preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable in coordination with staff and third party biller
  • Receive, process and deposit cash, checks, credit card and ACH payments
  • Reconcile reports to third-party records including bank statements, merchant services and medical billing
  • Maintain general ledger (current system is QuickBooks) including allocating costs and journal entries
  • Prepare monthly financial statements
  • Coordinate and execute annual audits and 990 of agency’s accounts
  • Process bi-weekly cloud based payroll, PTO, and expense reimbursement
  • Administer benefits including health insurance and retirement plans
  • Maintain appropriate system of financial controls
  • Process paper work for new hires and terminations
